CORY UPDATE!
So, Cory called me the other night and we talked for a little while. we talked a little about this class and he said he wanted me to write a blog ALL about him, so I figured since I had to have two for this week why not. He has moved to Metropolis (incase you didn't know) and is going to Massac county high school. Cory wanted me to let everyone know that he likes his new school and says everything is a lot easier there. He also has finally got himself a girlfriend, Winter. he said so much more but you know Cory, you can't understand half of what he says anyway.

The past is the past.
Yes, the past can hurt, but the way I see it, you can run from it or you can learn from it. Why spend all your time running from the past? The past is the past and now there is nothing you can do to change the things in it. If someone makes you mad or does something wrong, remember this famous quote "forgive and forget". Don't hold grudges, their a complete waste of time and energy. Throughout your life you're going to make mistakes, you're only human and no one is perfect. Just learn from your past and don't run from it. Face your fears and live your life.

Never the right time to say good bye..
"It's never the right time to say goodbye." Ain't that the truth. There never really is a "right" time to let someone go. It's one of those things that you put off and put off until you finally realize you have to. There's no easy way to do it, but you know you don't have a choice. You can love someone with all your heart, but if you know it's best for both of you to end things then you have to let them go. If you're not on the same page or at the same level in life, there's a pretty good chance that it's in your best interest to let them go. It won't be easy but sometimes you just have to.

My love for writing. :)
You may think I'm being sarcastic by the title but I'm actually being dead serious. I love to write. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed writing until I was sitting at the house on a saturday night, bored with nothing to do, hanging out in "the grounded life". I got out a notebook and literally wrote four or five pages full of poems and little stories and such. It was kind of a way for me to get my emotions out on paper. Since I didn't have my phone to pick up and call a friend, I picked up a pen and wrote it all down. And better yet, I even made it rhyme :)

Cheerleading is a Sport!!
Cheerleading IS a sport!! Argue with me about this and I promise I will win! The definition of a sport is: An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others. So argue with that!!

My wonderful weekend..NOT!
Well this weekend I was supposed to go watch Kentucky play Ole Miss, but no, that didn't exactly happen. Instead I stayed here and got in trouble. Ugh! It's all my dads works fault! If they wouldn't have had a roof fall, then we would have had the money to go to Lexington like I was supposed to, and none of this would have happened. So a big thanks to Willow Lake coal mines for ruining my weekend! Now hurry up and get your mine fixed so my dad can go back to work and I can go shopping..please and thank you. :)

less material, more expensive..?
I'm so confused. I bought a pair of jeans from American Eagle the other day and paid 30.00 dollars for them. Then I started thinking about how much I had paid for shorts last summer, anywhere from 40.00 to 50.00 dollars. I just don't understand, they take off way more than half of the material but yet they can still charge the same price, if not more for them. And the worst part is, we still buy shorts at that price, therefore they keep their shorts at that price because they know they can, and they know we will still buy them!
