Today is my first softball game of the year. We play Union! We've had a few games already but I haven't been able to play because of that stupid mono. I still have it but I'm starting to feel a little better so I guess I'll suck it up and play tonight. For some reason I'm kinda starting to get nervous, which is weird because I usually get excited before I play not nervous. I really shouldn't be all that nervous though, considering I only get to play JV tonight because of all the practice I've missed. That actually makes me feel better because I don't know the signs or anything for varsity yet. We had a tournament over the weekend in Massac, we didn't do the best that we could have but we did decent. So far this year were 0-4 :( hopefully that will change tonight and then maybe we'll be 1-4!
It's good that you finally get to play! I know you've been sick and that mono is bad-so I've heard. I'd be nervous, too. But I'd be excited as well. If you're not ready to play varsity then don't try and rush it. Just take you time and learn before you get up there to play.
