The past is the past.
Yes, the past can hurt, but the way I see it, you can run from it or you can learn from it. Why spend all your time running from the past? The past is the past and now there is nothing you can do to change the things in it. If someone makes you mad or does something wrong, remember this famous quote "forgive and forget". Don't hold grudges, their a complete waste of time and energy. Throughout your life you're going to make mistakes, you're only human and no one is perfect. Just learn from your past and don't run from it. Face your fears and live your life.

I like this quote. It seems to fit in well with your post. And it's true. You can think of the things you did wrong, but they won't help it. When things don't go well and you get sad, all you can do is keep going.
